4,000 students from 106 countries in the five continents are playing Ace Manager, the first online professional adventure game based on real facts, by BNP Paribas.
Starting today, and for a period of six weeks, 1000 teams, each comprising four students, will play in the virtual world of “Universe-City” and test their aptitude to perform the bank's various business lines by accomplishing three missions connected to the tennis economy. For Retail Banking, students will have to help the “Universe-City” Tennis Federation develop its tennis tournament. For Asset Management & Services, they will have to manage the financial assets of a tennis champion. And for Corporate and Investment Banking, the students will have to help a tennis racquet manufacturer grow his business through an acquisition.
The most represented countries (more than 100 participants per country) are: India, Turkey, France, China, Ukraine, Italia, Russia, Germany, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Algeria.
The first phase of the simulation game will be played until 18 March on the website www.acemanager.bnpparibas.com.
The five best teams will be invited to Paris for the final to be held mid-April. The students will then have to face the last challenge in front of a jury of experts from the BNP Paribas Group.
The finalist teams will be awarded:
- The first team will receive 10,000 euros.
- The second team 2,600 euros.
- And the third team 1,600 euros.
Ace Manager has been designed in collaboration with BNP Paribas bankers to give students an understanding of the Group's three core businesses: Retail Banking, Asset Management & Services and Corporate and Investment Banking.
During the game, students will also have to demonstrate their ability to adapt themselves to the core values of BNP Paribas: responsiveness, creativity, ambition and commitment.
